Newborn, maternity and Family Photography

Session fee $250

I simply adore capturing special family memories that celebrate your love, unique personalities and connections. I am inspired by beautiful locations and natural light so like to incorporate these into your family and maternity sessions and for newborns I travel to the comfort of your own home and create the perfect environment with my mobile studio.

The best time to book your maternity and newborn sessions are in the first trimester of your pregnancy as dates through out the year are limited. 

Maternity

Maternity Sessions generally take place between 30 -35 weeks depending on how you are feeling and the progress of your baby bump. I like to photograph these sessions in a beautiful outdoor location that suits your style. I always schedule for the late afternoon an hour or so before sunset for the best light.

I am happy to provide advice and styling for what to wear to your maternity shoot. Partners and other children are always welcome to be included.

Newborn

Newborn Sessions are best within the first 14 days after birth. During this time babies are still very sleepy and easy to pose into those lovely curled  positions that imitate their time in the womb. All newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your own home with my mobile studio. I create an environment that is warm, quiet and comfortable in order to keep your baby happy and peaceful throughout the session. A newborn shoot generally takes between 1.5 – 2 hours depending on the baby and allowing time for feeding and settling.

My style of newborn photography is natural, pure and organic. I use a range of props and styling that reflects this approach and I always aim to keep the focus on simple, beautiful images of your newborn.

Family

My Style of Family photography is about capturing your family in the most natural way possible. My approach is a mixture of candid moments of you just being yourselves, pretty portraits and intimate moments. These sessions take place at any local outdoor location in the last 1.5 hours before sunset.
